SLU Hosts LSUA, UL Lafayette

HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team hosts LSU Alexandria and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in a pair of non-conference games this week at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.
 
Games are scheduled for Tuesday at 6 p.m. against LSUA (28-11) and Wednesday at 6 p.m. against the Ragin' Cajuns (19-13). Both are slated for coverage on ESPN+.
 
Fans can listen to all the Southeastern (19-13) baseball action locally on KSLU 90.9 The Lion or worldwide online at either www.LionSports.net/listenlive or www.LionUpRadio.org, via the following apps – Lions Gameday Experience, Live365, iHeart, Audacy, TuneIn and MyTuner Radio - or on Alexa speakers (skill must be enabled first). Tuesday's game is Throwback Night, with classic vibes and $2 hot dogs.
 
Rhett Centanni (.371, 3 HR, 8 RBI), Peyton Woods (.346, 3 HR, 14 RBI), Justin Williams (.310, 5 HR, 24 RBI) and Connor Cuff (.299, 8 HR, 25 RBI) are the Lions' leading hitters.
 
SLU is coming off a series victory at UIW this past weekend and has won six of its last seven games.
 
Dalton Wilson (.375, 6 HR, 34 RBI), Landon Langley (.328, 2 HR, 40 RBI) and Cade Labruyere (.309, 4 HR, 43 RBI) pace the LSUA offense.
 
The Generals are coming off a series victory over Texas A&M-Victoria and have won nine of their last 10 games.
 
Lee Amedee (.346, 2 HR, 19 RBI), Colt Brown (.292, 1 HR, 16 RBI) and Steven Spalitta (.264, 2 HR, 13 RBI) are the Ragin' Cajuns' top offensive threats.
 
Since hosting SLU on March 24, the Ragin' Cajuns have dropped five of their last seven games.
 
UP NEXT
Following the mid-week pair, Southeastern hosts Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a weekend Southland Conference series. Games against the Islanders are scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
 
In addition to Friday Funday, the series opener against the Islanders is Daddy Daughter Date Night. Dads can enjoy an evening of baseball, smiles, and special moments with their daughters. It's the perfect night for quality time, cheers, and unforgettable fun.
 
Also, each Friday during the season, kids 12 and under will be able to stand alongside their favorite Lion for the National Anthem.
 
Saturday is Baseball Bingo at the Ballpark. Each Saturday during the season, fans can grab a bingo card from the marketing and promotions table in the concourse and play along. The first 25 valid bingos win a prize from Southeastern Athletics.
 
Sunday is both Military Appreciation Day and Lite It Up Blue. The Lions will celebrate Autism Awareness Day at the ballpark. Enjoy baseball, school pride, and a day dedicated to community, understanding, and inclusion. This game will include sensory-friendly adjustments to make the event enjoyable for all guests.
 
Also, each Sunday during the season, the Lions pay tribute to those who serve with free admission to the ballpark.  One complimentary ticket will be given to those with a valid military ID.
