HAMMOND, La. – The weekend forecast for Edinburg, Texas has caused a schedule change in the Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team's Southland Conference series at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
 
Instead of playing single games Saturday and Sunday, Southeastern (23-15, 12-6 SLC) will face the Vaqueros (16-20, 10-11 SLC) in a day-night doubleheader to wrap up the series. Games are now scheduled for 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Saturday at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.
 
Both games are still slated for coverage on ESPN+ and the Southeastern Sports Radio Network.
 
Fans can listen to all the Southeastern (23-15, 12-6 SLC) baseball action locally on KSLU 90.9 The Lion or worldwide online at either www.LionSports.net/listenlive or www.LionUpRadio.org, via the following apps – Lions Gameday Experience, Live365, iHeart, Audacy, TuneIn and MyTuner Radio - or on Alexa speakers (skill must be enabled first). Friday's series opener against UTRGV remains scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on ESPNU and marks the Southland's first regular-season conference baseball game to air on national television.
