HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball program's non-conference matchup against Xavier of Louisiana scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, has been canceled.
 
Southeastern (23-15, 12-6 SLC)) continues its four-game road trip this weekend, heading down the Rio Grande Valley for a three-game Southland conference series against UTRGV (16-20, 10-11 SLC) in Edinburg, Texas.
 
Games at UTRGV Baseball Stadium are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday, 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. The series opener is slated for national coverage on ESPNU.
 
SLU now returns to Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field, April 22, to host Alcorn State at 6 p.m. in a non-conference matchup for Greek Night at the ballpark.
