HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team opens a four-game road trip Tuesday in New Orleans, Louisiana, facing Tulane in a non-conference contest. First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m. at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium on ESPN+.

Luke Lirette (2-1, 3.91) earns the start on the mound for Southeastern. He will oppose Green Wave left-hander LuisPablo Navarro (1-1, 5.51).
 
Peyton Woods (.347-4-15), Southland Conference Hitter of the Week Ben Robichaux (.300-9-30) and Justin Williams (.299-7-28) are the Lions' leading hitters.
 
After taking the final two games of its three-game conference series against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi this past weekend, SLU has won 10 of its last 12 games.
 
Tulane has split its last four games despite winning a pair of games in its three-game series against East Carolina this past weekend.
 
Jason Wachs (.349-3-35), Nate Johnson (.298-3-27) and Hugh Pinkney (.284-2-11) are the Green Wave's leading hitters this season.

SLU continues on its four-game road trip this weekend, heading down the Rio Grande Valley for a three-game conference series against UTRGV in Edinburg, Texas. Games at UTRGV Baseball Stadium are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday, 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. The series opener is slated for national coverage on ESPNU.
