HAMMOND, La. – The defending Southland Conference champion Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team travels to San Antonio, Texas for a three-game conference series at UIW.
 
Games against the Cardinals (15-14, 6-9 SLC) are scheduled for 2:05 p.m. Thursday, 2:05 p.m. Friday and 1:05 p.m. Saturday at Sullivan Field, sponsored by H-E-B. Both the series opener and finale are slated for coverage on ESPN+.

Peyton Woods (.338, 2 HR, 12 RBI), Ben Robichaux (.311, 6 HR, 24 RBI) and Justin Williams (.290, 4 HR, 22 RBI) are the Lions' leading hitters.
 
UIW has five regulars hitting over .300, led by Jake Weaver (.348, 5 HR, 31 RBI), Preston Newberry (.333, 5 HR, 19 RBI) and Tony DeJesus (.309, 4 HR, 16 RBI).
 
Coming off a 5-1 victory over No. 8-ranked Southern Miss, SLU has won four straight heading into the series. After dropping 2-of-3 games in a conference series at Lamar, the Cardinals picked up a 13-11 win Tuesday over UTSA.
 
UP NEXT
Following the UIW series, Southeastern returns to Hammond for a five-game homestand that kicks off Tuesday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.
 
The Lions host LSUA at 6 p.m. Tuesday, UL Lafayette at 6 p.m. Wednesday and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a weekend conference series. Games against the Islanders are scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
 
Tuesday's game is Throwback Night. There will be classic vibes and $2 hot dogs.
 
In addition to Friday Funday, the series opener against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is Daddy Daughter Date Night. Enjoy an evening of baseball, smiles, and special moments shared between dads and daughters. It's the perfect night for quality time, cheers, and unforgettable fun.
 
Also, each Friday during the season, kids 12 and under will be able to stand alongside their favorite Lion for the National Anthem.
 
Saturday is Baseball Bingo at the Ballpark. Each Saturday during the season, fans can grab a bingo card from the marketing and promotions table in the concourse and play along. The first 25 valid bingos win a prize from Southeastern Athletics.
 
Sunday is both Military Appreciation Day and Lite It Up Blue. The Lions will celebrate Autism Awareness Day at the ballpark. Enjoy baseball, school pride, and a day dedicated to community, understanding, and inclusion. This game will include sensory-friendly adjustments to make the event enjoyable for all guests.
 
Also, each Sunday during the season, the Lions pay tribute to those who serve with free admission to the ballpark.  One complimentary ticket will be given to those with a valid military ID.
