HAMMOND, La. – The resumption of the second game of Saturday's doubleheader between Grambling and the Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team has been rained out, with SLU picking up the 10-9 victory to sweep the series.
 
Following a second weather delay Saturday, the game was halted one batter after Blaise Priester's go-ahead, two-run home run to left field in the bottom of the eighth.
 
Chase Ambrose (1-0) earned the win for SLU. Hampton Phillips (0-2) was tagged with the loss.
 
Southeastern returns to the road for a non-conference game Wednesday at South Alabama. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Stanky Field in Mobile, Alabama.
