HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team returns home this weekend for the 11
th installment of the annual Pontchartrain Bowl rivalry series against New Orleans.
Games against the Privateers (11-16, 4-8 SLC) are scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. All three games are slated for coverage on ESPN+.
Saturday's matchup is part of the annual Super Lion Saturday festivities. In addition to a volleyball exhibition tournament in the University Center and a football's final spring scrimmage, there will be food and live music outside the ballpark from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Children, aged 12 and under, will also be allowed to stand on the field during the series opener with their favorite Lion player for the national anthem as part of the Friday Funday promotion. Fans will be able to play baseball bingo during Saturday's contest. Sunday is Military Appreciation Day. One complimentary ticket will be given out per valid military ID.

Truitt Webb (2-0, 1.59) steps into the Friday night starter's role for SLU. He will oppose Privateer senior right-hander Will Andrade (1-1, 3.62).
Lakin Polk (2-1, 6.07), a senior right-hander from Ponchatoula, Louisiana, draws the starting assignment for Saturday's contest opposite UNO senior left-hander Bryson Goff (3-2, 9.97).
Blake Lobell (0-0, 4.60) is slated to start the series finale for SLU. The Privateers have not announced a starting pitcher for the series finale.
Peyton Woods (.333, 2 HR, 12 RBI),
Ben Robichaux (.322, 6 HR, 21 RBI),
Connor Cuff (.284, 5 HR, 18 RBI) and
Justin Williams (.282, 1 HR, 15 RBI) pace the Lion offense at the plate.
Dylan Biddick (.364, 3 HR, 19 RBI), Eli Tidwell (.323, 5 HR, 12 RBI ) and Owen Smith (.320, 6 HR, 25 RBI) are the Privateers' leading hitters.
Southeastern has dropped three of its last four games, all on the road, while UNO has won two of its last six games as part of a 10-game road trip.

SLU kicks off a four-game road trip Tuesday at No. 11-ranked Southern Miss. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m. at Pete Taylor Park. The Lions then head on to San Antonio, Texas for a conference series at UIW. Games against the Cardinals are scheduled for 2:05 p.m., April 2-3, and 1:05 p.m. on April 4.
