HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team wraps up a four-game road trip Tuesday in Lafayette, Louisiana with a non-conference matchup against the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m. at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.

Luke Lirette (1-0, 3.86) earns the start on the mound for SLU. He will oppose Ragin' Cajun left-hander Ty Roman (1-2, 6.15).

Connor Cuff (.286, 4 HR, 16 RBI) pace the Lions at the plate.
Southeastern split four games this past week, including a win over No. 8-ranked Oklahoma. The Ragin' Cajuns were swept in a conference series at Texas State this past weekend.
Colt Brown (.333, 1 HR, 15 RBI), Lee Amedee (.301, 1 HR, 14 RBI) and Rigoberto Hernandez (.275, 3 HR, 14 RBI) are the Ragin' Cajuns' leading hitters.
The squads split two games last season, with the home team winning both games.

Southeastern returns home this coming weekend for the 11
th installment of the annual Pontchartrain Bowl rivalry series against New Orleans. Games are slated for 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.
Children, aged 12 and under, will also be allowed to stand on the field during the series opener with their favorite Lion player for the national anthem as part of the Friday Funday promotion. In addition to Super Lion Saturday festivities, fans will be able to play baseball bingo during Saturday's contest. Sunday is Military Appreciation Day. One complimentary ticket will be given out per valid military ID.
