HAMMOND, La. – The two-time reigning Southland Conference champion Southeastern Louisiana University volleyball team will close out an eight-match road swing this week at the Texas A&M Invitational.

Thursday will see SLU (5-3) face the host Aggies (5-2) at 6 p.m. with SLU wrapping up the tournament with a 3 p.m. match versus Loyola Marymount (1-5) Friday and a noon match Saturday versus New Hampshire (6-4). Thursday's match at Texas A&M will air on SEC Network+ while live stats, provided by the host Aggies, for all tournament matches will be accessible via the indoor volleyball schedule page at www.LionSports.net.

Southeastern will be looking to snap a three-match losing streak. The Lady Lions started the season 5-0, before falling to South Alabama, Tulane and LSU last week.

The Navarre, Fla. native ranks among the Southland Conference leaders in hitting percentage (.335, 3rd), kills per set (3.92, 2nd) and points per set (4.27, 2nd).  Ashley Richardson (6.19, 7th) and Peyton Stokley (5.43, 10th) have split setting duties for the Lady Lions and both sit in the SLC top 10 in assists per set.

Southeastern's India Bennett is in the top five in all of Division I in both blocks per set (1.90, 2nd) and total blocks (55, 5th), as the Prairieville, La. product paces the Southland in both categories. Alexis Logarbo joins her in the league's top 10 with 1.07 blocks per set – good for sixth in the SLC. Lexi Gonzalez's 4.41 digs per set is currently the fourth-highest average in the conference.

Logan Lednicky (3.76), Kyndal Stowers (3.24) and Emily Hellmuth (3.23) are the team leaders for a Texas A&M team looking to stop a two-match skid after a 5-0 start. Maddie Waak (11.41 assists per set), Ava Underwood (3.04 digs per set) and Ifenna Cos-Okpalla (1.41 blocks per set) are among the other Aggie standouts.

Friday's opponent, Loyola Marymount, has faced a difficult early slate this fall, with Madeline Boerstra (3.35 kills per set) and Sophie Stephenson (3.22 kills per set) serving as the team's points leaders. Delfina Schuh (7.48 assists per set) handles setting duties and leads the team with 2.83 digs per set.
