BATON ROUGE, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's and women's cross country teams finished fourth and fifth, respectively, at the LSU Invitational Friday morning at the LSU UREC Field Complex.
Landen Schillage was the top finisher on the men's side for Southeastern, covering his split in 13:20.70 to finish 14
th among individuals. Schillage was followed by teammates

The meet was scored under relay rules with Johnson and Joseph finishing as SLU's top pair in 14
th place, as Schillage ran solo.
Ava Pitarro was the top performer for the Lady Lions, finishing her 2K split in 11:36.34. She and

th) were SLU's top pairing, finishing 18
th.

Southeastern will return to the course Sept. 27, competing in the Nicholls Cross Country Invitational. The women's 5K race opens the day's action at 8 a.m. with the men's four-mile race following at 8:30 a.m.
