HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University pitcher
Brennan Stuprich earned third-team All-America honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), the organization announced Wednesday.
A native of Kenner, Louisiana, Stuprich compiled a 9-5 win-loss record, 109 strikeouts and a 2.90 ERA. He led the Southland Conference in wins, strikeouts and innings pitched.
Stuprich also became the program's all-time leader in wins (tied), games started and innings pitched, along with finishing one strikeout shy of tying the SLU career record.
It is the second postseason honor in as many days for the right-hander. Stuprich picked up All-Region honors Tuesday from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).
He was previously named the Southland Conference Pitcher of the Year and earned All-Southland honors, in addition to being placed on the College Baseball Foundation's National Pitcher of the Year watch list.
There are 17 different conferences and 16 conference championship squads represented among the 2025 standouts. The three All-America squads are also made up of 16 conference players or co-players of the year, 12 conference pitchers of the year, five conference relief pitchers of the year, and nine Division I loop defensive players of the year.
