HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team wraps up a five-game road trip with a non-conference game against No. 2-ranked LSU at Alex Box Stadium/Skip Bertman Field at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Slated for coverage on SEC+, the game is the only matchup for Southeastern (33-11) and LSU (36-9) slated for the regular season. Live stats will be available in the Lions Gameday Experience app and online at www.LionSports.net.

Southeastern is coming off a series victory, two games to one, at Houston Christian in Southland Conference action this past weekend.
Hitting .300 as a team, the Lions rank 21st nationally with 72 home runs. Southeastern also ranks third in the nation in both shutouts (7) and double plays turned (45) and fourth with a 3.28 staff ERA.

Derek Curiel (.373, 5 HR, 41 RBI), Jared Jones (.358, 14 HR, 58 RBI), Daniel Dickinson (.333, 8 HR, 38 RBI), Chris Stanfield (.331, 19 RBI) and Jake Brown (.308, 4 HR, 32 RBI) are the Tigers' leading hitters this season.
LSU is coming off a series victory over No. 6-ranked Tennessee, two games to one, this past weekend in Southeastern Conference action.

Southeastern returns to Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field for its final homestand of the regular season. The Lions will host Lamar in a three-game, Southland Conference series this coming weekend.
Games against the Cardinals are scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
Friday's game is Senior Night. SLU will honor its senior class in a pregame ceremony beginning 30 minutes prior to the first pitch. Postgame fireworks are also slated.
Baseball bingo cards will be available for fans at Saturday's game. Sunday is Military Appreciation Day. Free general admission tickets to the game are available for active military members who present a valid service ID at the gate.
