HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team hosts Tulane at 3 p.m. Wednesday in a non-conference contest at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. The game has been pushed up from its originally scheduled time to avoid frigid temperatures later in the evening.
Children, ages 12 and younger, can stand on the field with their favorite Lion player during the national anthem. Hot dogs are also only $2 at the main concession stand.

Southeastern (4-0) is coming off a sweep of Lindenwood in a four-game series to open the 2025 season. The Lions are hitting .394 as a team and lead the nation with 14 home runs.

The Green Wave (3-0) swept Omaha in a three-game series to open their 2025 season. Tulane is hitting .323 as a team with three home runs.
Gavin Schulz (.556, 0 HR, 4 RBI), Matthias Haas (.500, 1 HR, 8 RBI), Connor Rasmussen (.364, 0 HR, 2 RBI) and Kaikea Harrison (.333, 0 HR, 1 RBI) are the Green Wave's top hitters entering the contest.

Southeastern hosts Alcorn State (0-1) in a three-game, weekend series at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. Games are slated for 1 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. The series opener is a Field Trip Game for local elementary schools and the annual Marid Gras at The Pat celebration. Saturday's game includes Baseball Bingo while Sunday is Military Appreciation Day. Free general admission tickets are available Sunday for active military members who present a valid service ID at the gate.
