HAMMOND, La. – The No. 14/19 Southeastern Louisiana University football team will travel to No. 18/20 Lamar Saturday for a 3 p.m. contest at Provost Umphrey Stadium.
The game between SLU (7-2, 5-0 SLC) and the host Cardinals (7-2, 4-1 SLC) will be televised on ESPN+ and can be heard on the Southeastern Sports Radio Network (Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM, The Boss 97.7 FM/WFPR 1400 AM).
Southeastern extended its winning streak to five games last Saturday with a 59-14 home win over East Texas A&M. The Lions enter Saturday's contest with a 7-0 record. SLU is scoring 47.1 points and allowing 12.2 points per contest versus FCS foes. The 34.9 point differential in FCS games is the nation's largest.
Southeastern is averaging 402.0 yards per game offensively.
Carson Camp (92-for-138, 1,313 yards, 11 TD, 4 INT) and
Kyle Lowe (57-84, 723 yards, 7 TD, 2 INT) continue to provide an effective quarterback tandem for the Lions.
Reigning SLC Offensive Player of the Week
Jaylon Domingeaux is the top receiver for SLU, entering the home stretch of the season with 33 catches for 630 yards and an SLC-high eight touchdown receptions - good for fifth in FCS.
Calvin Smith Jr. (362 yards, 5 TD), Lowe (335-4 TD),
Deantre Jackson (309-7 TD) and
Jaedon Henry (260-4 TD) fuel the Southeastern ground attack.
The Lion defense is allowing 289.1 yards per contest.
KK Reno leads the team with 77 tackles, followed by
Jakyri Jones (40),
Khamron Ford (37),
Jirrea Johnson Jr. (33) and
Ian Conerly-Goodly (30).
Southeastern also is sixth nationally with 29 sacks.
Kaleb Proctor leads the team with seven sacks, followed by
Joshua Randall (4.5) and
Rowan Briggs (3.5). Conerly-Goodly has a team-high three interceptions, while
Zach Johnson paces the squad with eight pass breakups.
SLU features the nation's most explosive return game.

Dkhai Joseph is eighth nationally with a 16.1 punt return average and is one of five FCS players with two punt return scores in 2025.
The No. 18/20 Cardinals had its seven-game winning streak snapped with a 24-17 loss at UIW last Saturday. Lamar is averaging 24.9 points and 296.4 yards per contest. Aiden McCown (78-for-121, 948 yards, 7 TD, 4 INT) and Robert Coleman (60-for-101, 518 yards, 2 TD, 3 INT) have split time at quarterback for LU with Kyndon Fuselier (38 catches, 353 yards, 4 TD) and Xavier Coleman (346 rushing yards, 2 TD) serving as the top playmakers.
Opponents are averaging 22.4 points and 314.9 yards per game against the Cardinal defense. Kristian Pugh paces LU with 55 tackles and two interceptions.
Saturday's game is the first of two straight on the road for the Lions, as SLU travels to UIW for a 2 p.m. game Nov. 15 in San Antonio.
