HAMMOND, La. – The two-time reigning Southland Conference regular season champion Southeastern Louisiana University indoor volleyball team will close out its 2025 home schedule with a pair of key Southland Conference matches this week in the University Center.
Southeastern (18-6, 10-2 SLC) opens the week with a 6:30 p.m. match versus Lamar (16-11, 9-3 SLC). Thursday will also be Camp Reunion Night in the UC, as SLU volleyball campers can wear their camp t-shirts and be recognized at the match.
SLU welcomes SLC co-leader SFA (16-7, 11-1 SLC) for a noon match Saturday. Prior to the match, the Lady Lions will honor the senior class of
Lily Morgan,
Peyton Stokley,
Alexis Logarbo,
India Bennett and
Lexi Gonzalez in a Senior Day ceremony.

Southeastern heads into its final home weekend riding a five-match winning streak and boasting a 10-0 home record this fall.
Kyra McKelvey has raised her team-high kills per set average to 3.90, while Logarbo (2.43), Bennett (2.25) and
Anne Brauckmiller (1.90) are the other kill leaders.
Ashley Richardson (6.07 assists per set) and
Peyton Stokley (5.75 aps) engineer a SLU offense that is averaging 13.6 kills per set.
Bennett's league-high 1.63 blocks per set is the fifth-highest average in Division I, while Logarbo (0.87 bps) and
Ayla Klingenberg (0.71 bps) have also been disruptive to opposing attackers. Gonzalez remains the team leader with 3.94 digs per set.
Lamar comes to Hammond on a nine-match winning streak. The trio of Maja Malinowska (3.78 kills per set), Kinley Elms (3.21 kps) and Taisha Roane (3.13 kps) lead the Cardinal attack. Daniella Udegbunam (1.16 blocks per set) and Gabby Baker (5.12 digs per set) are the defensive standouts for LU.
Southeastern won the first meeting between the two teams, 25-19, 25-20, 25-23, Oct. 2 in Beaumont, Texas. Abby Bailey led SLU with 10 kills, while McKelvey, Logarbo and Brauckmiller posted nine kills apiece in the win. Richardson posted a double-double with 19 assists and 13 digs, while Gonzalez (17 digs) and Bennett (five blocks) paced the Lady Lion defense.
SFA has won its last four outings after suffering its first league loss versus UIW Oct. 18. Katherine Holtman (2.96 kills per set) leads the Ladyjack attack and is one of four players on the roster averaging multiple kills per set. Kyanna Creecy (1.15 blocks per set) and Jordan Henderson (1.12 bps) provide an effective blocking tandem for SFA.
Southeastern will be looking to avenge a 25-17, 25-13, 25-18 loss in the first meeting between the two teams Oct. 4 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Izabella Ortiz and Holtman led SFA with 12 and 10 kills, respectively, as the Ladyjacks hit .330 in the three-set home victory.
Following this weekend's action, SLU will close out the regular season with a pair of road matches. Southeastern's final week opens with a 6:30 p.m. match Nov. 11 at Nicholls.
