HAMMOND, La. – After helping the No. 20/21 Southeastern Louisiana University football team to a 38-26 victory over Nicholls in the regular season finale, SLU wide receiver Jaylon Domingeaux was named the Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week Monday.
 
Domingeaux earned his second SLC Player of the Week of the season, as the Lafayette, La. native previously claimed the honor Nov. 3.
 
In the win over Nicholls, Domingeaux hauled in six catches for 45 yards and three touchdowns. The three scores tied a career-high for the Lions' leading receiver.
 
Domingeaux has 48 catches for 779 yards and 11 touchdowns this fall. His touchdown total is good for fourth in FCS and is the third-highest single-season total in program history.
 
Domingeaux and the Lions will host Illinois State at noon Saturday in Strawberry Stadium in the first round of the NCAA FCS playoffs. SLU will be making its sixth appearance in the postseason and will be hosting for the fifth time in school history.

SLU season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase their same seats through Tuesday at 4 p.m. Any tickets not reserved by season ticket holders by the Tuesday deadline will be made available to the general public.
 
The Southeastern Athletics Ticket Office is located in West Stadium. The ticket off will be open 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Friday of this week.
 
Saturday's game will air on ESPN+ and can be heard on the Southeastern Sports Radio Network (Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM, The Boss 97.7 FM/WFPR 1400 AM).
