HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University has announced that its final Southland Conference basketball doubleheader versus Nicholls has been rescheduled for March 7 in the Pride Roofing University Center.
The doubleheader was originally scheduled for March 6, but was moved back a day to avoid conflict with the SLU baseball team's scheduled home game versus reigning national champion LSU and the Lady Lion softball team's home contest versus Southern Miss.
The women's game between reigning Southland Conference regular season and tournament champion SLU and Nicholls will tip off at 5:30 p.m. with the men's game pitting the Lions and the Colonels following at 7:30 p.m. or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's contest.
Both games will be televised on ESPN+ and can be heard on 90.9 The Lion. Prior to the men's contest, the 2023-24 Lion senior class of
Roscoe Eastmond,
Nick Caldwell,
Alec Woodard and
Avery Wilson will be recognized in a Senior Day ceremony.
