HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University women's soccer team will suit up for a pair of road conference matches.
The Lady Lions begin the trip Friday with a 7 p.m. contest against Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Tex. The matchup between Southeastern (5-5-1, 4-1 SLC) and SFA (6-2-2, 3-1 SLC) will be televised on ESPN+.
SLU will finish its two-game conference road stretch against the Nicholls Colonels (2-7-1, 0-4 SLC). The Colonels will host Southeastern for its fourth annual Crystal Cup rivalry series in a 5 p.m. match Sunday evening. The match will be streamed on ESPN+. Southeastern gained two big wins this past weekend over reigning two-time Southland Conference champion Lamar and Northwestern State. The Lady Lions came out to a great start and kept the momentum going against Lamar. Reigning SLC Offensive Player of the Week

The Lady Lions returned Sunday to extend its winning streak with a 2-1 victory over Northwestern State at home.
Kelsey Fuller connected in net for SLU for the third time this season to equalize the game. Reigning SLC Defensive Player of the Week
Halli Roe executed a counter attack that sealed the win late into the contest. Roe earned her second goal of the season while playing a key role for Southeastern's back line of defense. SLU improved to 4-1 in league play while moving up to first place in SLC standings. Goalkeeper
Kendall Curran finished with seven saves and played 180 minutes to help the Lady Lions go 2-0 over the weekend.
Stephen F. Austin also recorded a two-game winning streak last weekend over HCU and UTRGV. The Lady Lumberjacks defeated HCU 2-0 Friday evening before ending the week with a 4-1 victory over UTRGV in Edinburg, Texas. SFA has tallied 34 goals this season led by Reaganne Crane with six goals. The Lady Lumberjacks have taken 202 shots with 42.6 shots on goal percentage against opponents. Senior Lydia Sattler has handled the majority of the work in the net for SFA with 22 saves and 0.86 goals against average.

Nicholls is seeking to gain its first win in conference play after falling 0-4 to Lamar and 0-1 against UIW. The Colonels have scored seven goals this season led by graduate student Koryn Barrett with four goals. Mylea Riggie leads the team with two assists as Nicholls has taken 67 shots and 36 shots on goal. Megan Cook (0.73 GAA) has handled all of the goalkeeping duties playing 900 minutes with 47 saves.
Concluding Sunday's matchup, Southeastern will continue on the road traveling to Houston, Texas to face HCU Sunday, Oct. 20 at 3 p.m. Sunday's match will be aired on ESPN+.
