HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University women's soccer team will return to action Sunday when it travels to Natchitoches to face Northwestern State in a 4 p.m. match at the Lady Demon Soccer Complex.
The game between Southeastern (2-5) and Northwestern State (2-5) will be televised on ESPN+. Live stats can be accessed on Northwestern's women's soccer schedule page at

Southeastern went 1-1 this past week. Thursday, SLU suffered a 0-2 defeat against ULM, before returning home to Strawberry Stadium with a 1-0 victory over Jackson State Sunday.
Hanna Moffatt contributed a big goal in the home opener for Southeastern to secure its last non-conference win before heading into conference play.
Mya Guillory and
Maycie Massingill each had a pair of shots on goal to lead the Lady Lions.
Olivia Griffin has managed majority of the work in goal for SLU and enters Sunday's match with 28 saves.
Northwestern State also split its two matches this past week. Sabrina Lopez, Emme' Fernandez and Taylor Spitzer have scored the last three goals for NSU. Libe Banuelos is the Northwestern State goalkeeper and has 33 saves heading into Sunday's match.
Following Sunday's contest, Southeastern will return to Strawberry Stadium. The Lady Lions will host UIW for a 1 p.m. match Sept. 24.
