HAMMOND, La.  – The Southeastern Louisiana University women's soccer team will return to action with a pair of nonconference road matches.
 
Southeastern starts the trip Friday with a 5 p.m. match at Southern. The matchup between SLU (1-2-0) and Southern (0-3-0) will be streamed on jaguarsportsnetwork.com (paid Southern subscription required).
 
SLU will continue its nonconference run against Arkansas State in a 1 p.m. match Sunday at the A-State Soccer Complex. Sunday's match can be seen on ESPN+. Live stats for both matches, provided by the hosts, can be accessed on the women's soccer schedule page at www.LionSports.net.
 
Southeastern went 0-1 this past weekend after suffering a 3-1 loss to Ole Miss, in Oxford Saturday.
 
Mya Guillory scored the lone goal for SLU to continue her streak with an unassisted score in the 69^th minute. Lady Lion goalkeeper Anna Blankenship ended the match with eight saves and enters Friday's match with a 1.90 goals against average.
 
Southern, which is looking for its first win of 2023, also underwent a tough 5-0 loss this last weekend against LSU Sunday. Iyanla Bailey-Williams is the lone Lady Jaguar to score this season. Sydney Bellamy is the Southern goalkeeper and has a 5.00 goals against average heading into Friday's match.
 
Arkansas State (1-1-1) will be returning back to Jonesboro after a road match against Kansas Thursday. Aliyah Williamson leads ASU with two goals, while Damaris Deschaine (3.06 GAA) has handled the majority of the goalkeeping duties.
 
Following Friday's matchup, Southeastern will continue its stretch of road games. The Lady Lions will travel to ULM for a 6 p.m. match Sept. 7.
