HAMMOND, La- The Southeastern Louisiana University women's soccer team released its 2023 schedule Monday.
 
The Lady Lions finished the 2022 season 7-7-3 overall and 5-4-3 in Southland Conference play. This is the second year for head coach Nathan Gillespie.
 
SLU starts its season on the road with non-conference matches at UTRGV (Aug. 18), Houston (Aug. 20), Ole Miss (Aug. 27), Southern (Sept. 1), ULM (Sept. 7). The Lady Lions face off in their lone nonconference home match versus Jackson State (Sept. 10).
 
Southeastern's conference matches on the road include Northwestern State (Sept. 17), Texas A&M Corpus Christi (Oct. 6), UIW (Oct. 8), McNeese (Oct. 15) and Lamar (Oct. 27).
 
The Lady Lions will face UIW (Sept. 24), Texas A&M-Commerce (Sept. 29), Lamar (Oct. 1), HCU (Oct. 13) and Nicholls (Oct. 22) at home.
 
The Southland Conference Tournament will be held in Corpus Christi Nov. 1-5.
