Maui, Hi. – The reigning Southland Conference champion Southeastern Louisiana University women's basketball team will return to action Tuesday traveling to Hawaii for a 11:30 p.m. Central matchup against Oregon State at Seabury Hall.

SLU will end its last non-conference game of the season against the Tulsa Hurricanes (8-3) for a 9 p.m. Central game Wednesday. Wednesday's matchup will be streamed on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lu2-9nWXz3I. Southeastern came up short against South Alabama 67-60 Friday evening for its eight non-conference game of the season. Hailey Giaratano led the team with 19 points and three assists making it her eighth consecutive game in double-digit scoring. The Lady Lions finished with three players in double-digit scoring.
 
SLU is seeking its first win in the state of Hawaii participating in the Maui Jim Maui Classic. Southeastern's defense has contained teams to 53.3 points per game while forcing 159 turnovers so far in non-conference play.
 
Oregon State (8-0) remains undefeated after defeating Santa Clara 80-52 Friday. Three players for the Beavers contributed double-digit scoring led by Raegan Beers with 19 points. Talia von Oelhoffen and AJ Marotte followed up with 28 points combined.
 
Tulsa (8-3) also gained a victory Friday over Texas Southern 82-45. Four players for the Hurricanes finished in double-digit scoring led by Ahrray Young with 16 points and two blocks. Temira Poindexter and Delanie Crawford are the leading scorers for Tulsa along with Hadley Periman who impacts the boards averaging 7.5 rebounds per game.

Following Wednesday's game, Southeastern will enter conference play against Nicholls on the road Jan. 4 at 6:30 p.m.
