HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University redshirt senior forward
Hanna Moffatt was named Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week in an announcement from the conference Monday morning.
Moffatt is the first Lady Lion to claim SLC weekly honors this season, as teammate
Mya Guillory was named Preseason All-Conference first team. The weekly award is the first of Moffatt's career.
The Rancho Cucamonga, California native launched a pair of goals Friday to fuel a 2-1 conference victory over HCU. Moffatt's last goal to connect against the Huskies was the game winner to extend the lead and secure Southeastern's second win streak. Friday was also highlighted by Moffatt's two goals in one match, the first of the season.
SLU will host its last home match in Strawberry Stadium for the season to celebrate Senior Night Sunday versus Nicholls for a 5 p.m. match. The game between the Lady Lions and the visiting Colonels will be televised on ESPN+ and can be heard live on KSLU 90.9 FM. Live stats can also be accessed on the women's soccer schedule page at
