HAMMOND, La. – Forward Taylor Dupree will continue her academic and athletic endeavors as a member of the Southeastern Louisiana University women's basketball program, Southeastern head coach Ayla Guzzardo announced on Wednesday.
 
A 6-2 post from Brandon, Mississippi, Dupree is the third member of the 2022-23 Southeastern women's basketball signing class. During the early signing period, SLU inked Amite guard Jen Pierre and Madison Prep guard Allasia Washington.
 
"We are so excited to add Taylor to our Lady Lion family," Guzzardo commented. "We established a successful inside game this season and the addition of Taylor will help us continue our post production. Her length and athletic ability will make an immediate positive impact on our program. We're so excited to get her to campus and for Taylor to help us continue to build our program."
 
Dupree spent a redshirt season at UT Martin and will come to Hammond with four years of eligibility remaining. She averaged a double-double as a senior at Northwest Rankin High School. An All-Metro selection, she was the No. 7 prospect in Mississippi coming out of high school and participated in the state's North/South All-Star Game.
 
Dupree, Pierre and Washington join a 2022-23 roster that will feature 10 returning letter winners. The Lady Lions will tip off the 2022-23 season in November.
