HAMMOND, La. –  Southeastern Louisiana will have 10 of its 2021 football games broadcast on ESPN platforms, the Southland Conference office announced on Wednesday.
 
For the second straight season, every Southland Conference game will be televised on ESPN+. The Lions' Sept. 4 season opener versus North Alabama will also be on ESPN+, while its Sept. 11 game at Louisiana Tech will air on ESPN3.
 
Three of Southeastern's games – Oct. 2 at McNeese, Oct. 9 at Nicholls and Nov. 18 vs. Nicholls – will originate on Cox Sports Television and be available to CST subscribers as well as a nationwide ESPN+ audience.
 
Southeastern head coach Frank Scelfo, Walter Payton Award winner Cole Kelley and two-time All-American Ferlando Jordan will represent the Lions at the Southland Conference Football Media Day, set for July 22 at the Hilton Houston Post Oak by the Galleria and to be televised on ESPN+ at 10 a.m.
 
SLU opens fall practice on Aug. 6 in preparation for the Sept. 4 season opener, which will see the Lions host UNA at 6 p.m. in Strawberry Stadium.
