HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana has added a pair of high school athletes to its 2020-21 volleyball recruiting class, head coach Jeremy White announced Wednesday.
 
Set to join the Lady Lions in the fall are middle blocker India Bennett out of Dutchtown H.S. in Geismar, Louisiana, and outside hitter Hannah Brewer out of Benton H.S. in Benton, Arkansas.
 
Bennett, who signed on just before Christmas, has earned a multitude of honors including All-District, All-Parish, All-Metro and All-State.
 
"India brings a lot of length and can touch 10 feet," White said. "She gives us an elite level of athleticism in our gym for the middle position."
 
Brewer, who agreed during early February to join the Lady Lions, recorded 182 kills (2.68 k/set) and .262 attack percentage as a senior.
 
"Hannah is a great athlete," White said "She's played at all three front-row positions as well as six rotations as an outside, making her very versatile. We're really excited about the athleticism she brings."
 
The duo joins early signees Gracie Duplechein, Hannah Haerer and Cicily Hidalgo.
 
DIGGIN' IT CLUB / S CLUB
Fans interested in becoming active supporters of the Southeastern volleyball program are encouraged to join the Diggin' It Club. Lion volleyball alums are encouraged to join the exclusive S Club, which is restricted to Southeastern athletic letter winners.
