Southeastern will be looking to end a two-game skid. On Saturday, SLU fell short in a 70-62 loss at Abilene Christian. The difference came on the boards, as Abilene Christian was able to out-rebound the visitors, 47-28.
Morgan Carrier led Southeastern with a new career-high scoring effort with a team-high 22 points, besting previous 20-point showings in wins last season over Alcorn State and Central Arkansas.
Carrier was one of two Lady Lions to score in double figures, as
Kacey Bradford came off the bench with 10 points.
Breonca Ducksworth led SLU with five rebounds and five assists.
Chrissy Brown finished with a team-high four steals, while Carrier chipped in with three steals.
Carrier heads into Wednesday's contest with a team-high 12.7 points per game.

Carrier (14 three-point field goals made) and Giaratano (11) are the team's most prolific outside shooters. With 104 career treys, Carrier ranks ninth on the program's all-time leaderboard for three-point field goals made.
Southeastern is averaging 34.4 rebounds per game and has a minus-4.9 rebounding margin. Brown leads SLU with 5.4 boards per contest.
SLU is forcing 18.6 turnovers per game. Ducksworth (2.1) and Brown (1.9) are the team's leaders in steals per game.
After going 0-7 in non-conference play, McNeese has opened Southland action with consecutive wins over Central Arkansas, Northwestern State and New Orleans. In Saturday's 67-61 win at UNO, Le'Shenae Stubblefield scored a career-high 20 points to lead the Cowgirls to a league road win.
Entering Wednesday's game, Divine Tanks leads the Cowgirls with 8.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Kyla Hamilton is second on the team in scoring (8.2 ppg), while leading the team with 2.5 assists and 2.1 steals per game.
