HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern men's basketball team added a non-conference matchup at LSU Monday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. to the 2020-21 schedule, LSU announced Monday.
The Lions and Tigers will meet for the second time in three years at LSU's Maravich Assembly Center. The Tigers defeated SLU in the 2018 season opener in Baton Rouge, Louisiana beginning LSU's run to the 2019 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Sweet 16.
The Nov. 30
th contest with LSU, which will be broadcast on SEC Network+, is part of SLU's 10-game road trip to start the season. The Lions open the season Wednesday night at 6 p.m. at Purdue Fort Wayne.
Southeastern also has road matchups with UAB, California Baptist, Louisiana Tech, Missouri State, Texas A&M, Lamar (non-conference), Stephen F. Austin (non-conference) and Grambling.
SLU won't see the home floor of the University Center until the Southland Conference opener Saturday, Jan. 2 at 4 p.m. when they host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
