HAMMOND, La.  – The Southeastern Louisiana men's and women's basketball teams will continue Southland Conference play, while the track and field teams continue the indoor season during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Lions (4-12, 1-4 Southland) will open the week at home, hosting Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Wednesday is a Cane's Challenge in the University Center. If SLU scores 70 or more points versus the visiting Islanders, fans can redeem their game ticket or student coupon at their local participating Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers for a free combo with the purchase of another of equal or lesser value.
 
On Saturday, Southeastern travels to Abilene Christian for a 7 p.m. contest. The day's hoops action begins when the Lady Lions (5-10, 2-4 Southland) face ACU at 4:30 p.m.
 
All of this week's men's and women's basketball games will be broadcast live in the Hammond area on KSLU-FM (90.9), online at www.LionSports.net/listenlive and via the TuneIn Radio and Lions Gameday Experience apps.
 
The Southeastern Sports Network will offer a free video stream of Wednesday's men's basketball game. Tune in online at www.LionSports.net or the Lions Game Day Experience app for Android or iOS devices. Fans can also watch on Southeastern's YouTube channel (/SLUathletics) with any mobile, tablet or smart TV device (e.g., Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Android TV and Roku).
 
Members of the men's and women's track and field teams will participate in the National Pole Vault Summit. The meet is scheduled for Friday and Saturday in Reno, Nevada.
 
The latest episode of Inside Southeastern Basketball with David Kiefer is set for Monday at 7 p.m. Hosted by Allen Waddell, the show will feature Kiefer breaking down the previous games and previewing the upcoming games each week through March 2 from Rainbow Daiquiris located at 14384 W. Thomas Street. Fans can submit questions for Kiefer at LionSports.Net for the "Ask the Coach" segment.
