HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana will Geaux Pink with Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center for Tuesday's Southland Conference volleyball match against New Orleans at the University Center. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
 
The Lady Lions (11-13, 5-5 Southland) enter the match sixth in the conference standings, one game ahead of New Orleans (11-13, 4-6 Southland). The Privateers sit in a three-way tie with Nicholls and Southeastern's upcoming opponent Central Arkansas for seventh.
 
Admission to the match is free. Fans are encouraged to wear pink for breast cancer awareness and are asked to enter the University Center upstairs at Gate 3. There will be special Geaux Pink promotions and giveaways throughout the game for fans and students. Lady Lion volleyball posters and magnet schedules will also be available in the Fan Zone.
 
The new Southeastern Sports Network will offer a free video stream of each Southeastern match this week. NOTEWORTHY

• Jodi Edo a senior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, ranks second in the Southland in solo blocks (21), and fourth in both total blocks (81) and attack percentage (.317).
• Edo (2.74 k/set), Caroline Golden (2.53 k/set) and Sam Gomez (2.43 k/set) are Southeastern's top attackers.
• Baylee Laskoskie ranks fifth in the Southland with 8.78 assists per set.
• Golden, a junior from Mandeville, Louisiana, ranks third in service aces (0.41 sa/set).
• Alexis Pratt (3.03 d/set), Lizzy Low (2.73 d/set), Golden (2.60 d/set) and Jolie Hidalgo (2.52 d/set) represent the Lady Lions' top defenders along the back line.
• Against conference competition, the Lady Lions have allowed the fourth-fewest kills (12.05 k/set) and the fifth-lowest opponent attack percentage (.193).

LAST MATCH
Southeastern's offensive attack dominated in Saturday's  Southland Conference win as the Lady Lions swept past Incarnate Word, 26-24, 25-14, 25-22, in San Antonio, Texas.
 
Laskoskie, a freshman setter from Spring, Texas, turned in her second double-double effort of the week (38 assists, 10 digs) and eighth of the season.
 
Edo (10 kills, .750), Gomez (10 kills, .381) and Ryan Maddera (10 kills, .500) led the Lady Lions' attack with considerable help from Golden (nine kills, .250) and Karlee Wilkerson (nine kills, .583).
 
Golden and Gomez, both juniors from Mandeville, Louisiana, served up a pair of aces each and Southeastern recorded seven in the match. Golden currently ranks third in the conference in service aces (0.41 sa/set).
 
Gomez had a hand in six of Southeastern's seven blocks, posting a pair of solos. Laskoskie led the team in digs.
