HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana wraps up an extended road trip through the state of Texas with a pair of Southland Conference matches, Thursday at Houston Baptist and Saturday at Incarnate Word.
Matches are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at HBU (12-11, 4-4 Southland) and 11 a.m. Saturday at UIW (4-18, 0-8 Southland). The Lady Lions (10-12, 4-4 Southland) enter the week tied for sixth in the conference standings.

NOTEWORTHY
- Jodi Edo a senior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, ranks second in the Southland in solo blocks (20), fourth in total blocks (74) and fifth in attack percentage (.298).
- Edo (2.70 k/set), Caroline Golden (2.54 k/set) and Sam Gomez (2.32 k/set) are Southeastern's top attackers.
- Baylee Laskoskie ranks fifth in the Southland with 8.52 assists per set.
- Golden, a junior from Mandeville, Louisiana, ranks third in service aces (0.41 sa/set).
- Alexis Pratt (3.08 d/set), Lizzy Low (2.64 d/set), Golden (2.58 d/set) and Jolie Hidalgo (2.58 d/set) represent the Lady Lions' top defenders along the back line.
- Against conference competition, the Lady Lions have the fourth-lowest opponent attack percentage (.178).

The Lady Lions return home Tuesday for their Geaux Pink match against New Orleans at the University Center. LAST MATCH
Southland Conference-leading Stephen F. Austin fought off a scrappy Southeastern squad Saturday, 27-25, 25-17, 25-15, at Shelton Gym.
Karlee Wilkerson, a sophomore from Springfield, Louisiana, and Golden led Southeastern with 11 kills apiece. Hidalgo, a freshman from Lafayette, Louisiana, added nine more to the offensive attack.
Laskoskie dished out 36 assists to aid the Lady Lions' efforts. Golden served up three aces. Edo had a hand in three of the Lady Lions' four team blocks, including a pair of solo blocks.
Low, also a freshman from Lafayette, led Southeastern with a career-high 21 digs, topping her previous best, set in Thursday's win at Abilene Christian, by five. Hidalgo also reached double figures in digs, contributing 11 for the Lady Lions.
