JONESBORO, Ark. – Kris Kerr shot a +1 73 for the Southeastern Louisiana golf team in the second round of the 24^th Annual Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate Tournament at Ridgepointe Country Club.
 
Kerr, a junior, got off to a rough start in the opening round. The Loranger, Louisiana product was +4 through the first six holes but rallied to shoot -1 over the final 12 holes entering the second round at +3.
 
The Loranger High School product held on strong in the second round. He scattered four bogeys and three birdies to finish the day at +4 through two rounds.
 
Arkansas State, the host team and ranked 13^th in the country, hammer lock on the tournament shooting -22, second place  Oral Roberts is -6. ASU's Julien Sale leads the individual scoring at -7.
 
SLU will attempt to make a move up the leaderboard Tuesday as they enter the final round, beginning at 8:15 a.m., in 13^th place.
