The deadline to renew season ticket packages for the 2019 Southeastern Louisiana baseball and softball seasons is Friday, Jan. 25, at noon. After that date, all reserved tickets will be made available for purchase.

The Lion baseball program opens the season at home, Feb. 15-17, with a 3-game series against Louisiana Tech. During
Matt Riser's five-year tenure as head coach, the Lions have averaged 39 wins per season.
That sustained success has allowed Southeastern to establish new season attendance records at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field each of the last four seasons, drawing a Southland Conference-leading average of 1,317 fans per game in 2018.
Softball season tickets include packages for reserved chair backs ($80) or general admission ($60) seats. Off-season renovations added a turf playing surface and LED stadium lights will be installed shortly after the season begins at North Oak Park.
Rick Fremin's squad led Division I in steals for the second time in three years in 2018, swiping a school-record 184 bases on the way to setting a program standard with 38 victories. The school's all-time leader in stolen bases,
Jaquelyn Ramon, along with fellow All-Southland returnee
Ali McCoy highlight a group of 14 returning letter winners for the Lady Lions.
A 30-game home softball schedule, which includes a pair of tournaments, begins Feb. 7 with Southeastern hosting San Jose State at North Oak Park. The Lion Classic I begins the next day. High profile opponents making the trek to Hammond include Southern Miss and Southland Tournament champ McNeese.

CLEAR BAG POLICY
Southeastern Athletics has instituted a clear bag policy for all ticketed events, effective with the start of the 2018 football season. The policy mirrors safety precautions taken upon entrance to professional and collegiate sporting venues throughout the country.
In addition to Southeastern baseball games at Alumni Field and softball games at North Oak Park, the policy will also be enforced at men's and women's basketball games in the University Center, and football games in Strawberry Stadium. For more information on the clear bag policy, visit www.LionSports.net/clear.
