QUOTES
Southeastern head coach Chris McBride:
"We started off well and went up 1-nil. I thought we did a good job defending in the first half. The second half, our tiredness showed. They didn't play Friday and I think it benefitted them. That's not an excuse, though. We should still have enough fitness to last Friday and Sunday games because that is what we are going to have to do during the year."
On having to play overtime:
"It's not what you want. You want to finish the game in regulation. They really came at us and made a couple of subs. They drew a penalty and it was just tired legs for us. We didn't step into the ball and gave away a foul inside the box. It just wasn't our day today. We maybe should have changed our tactics and sat back on defense in the second half. We have to look at that. We fought hard and we just didn't get the result at the end of the day."

Southeastern returns home to host Louisiana-Lafayette Friday at 7 p.m. in Strawberry Stadium. The Lady Lions then welcome in Southern for a 7 p.m. match on Sunday.
