Southeastern Opens Conference Action with Dig the Lions

Lady Lions host Lamar, HBU this week

HAMMOND, La. – Fresh off a grueling 10-match road swing, the Southeastern Louisiana volleyball squad returns to the University Center to open Southland Conference play against Lamar at 7 p.m. Thursday in the annual Dig the Lions match.

The first 200 Southeastern students in attendance at Thursday's match will receive a Dig the Lions t-shirt and free food courtesy Southeastern Athletics Marketing and Promotions.

Admission, as it will be for all home volleyball matches this season, is free. Fans should enter the arena upstairs at Gate 3. Volleyball posters and magnet schedules will be available in the Fan Zone and students can earn points toward their LionUp Loyalty account by checking in on the app while in attendance.

The Lady Lions (1-11) cap off the weekend with another Southland match, hosting Houston Baptist at 1 p.m. Saturday, leading up to the evening's football home opener.
