HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana, making a final push for the Southland Conference Tournament, wraps up the home portion of its basketball schedule with a pair of conference contests Saturday at 4 p.m. against Central Arkansas and Monday at 7 p.m. against Northwestern State at the University Center.
Saturday's doubleheader between the Lions (8-19, 6-8 Southland) and Central Arkansas (7-17, 6-8 Southland) is Senior Day and Take a Kid to the Game Day. Prior to the 4 p.m. tipoff of the men's game senior manager Aaron Ardis, as well as players 
JaMichael Hawkins, 
Zay Jackson and 
Byron Smith, will be honored.
Fans can obtain one free children's general admission ticket to either game of the doubleheader with the purchase of one adult ticket. The ticket must be purchased in person either in the ticket office or at the University Center box office.
Students and campus organizations can also earn points toward their new Lion Up Loyalty account at all home athletic events just by checking-in on the mobile app while in attendance.

Monday's game against the Demons (8-17, 5-10 Southland) is a Cane's Challenge contest.
Southeastern is coming off a wild, 93-81 win over the University of New Orleans this past Wednesday. The Lions extended their home winning streak to four games with the victory. Southeastern built a 31-point halftime lead, but a game UNO (9-16, 5-9 Southland) team cut the lead to as few as eight points, but the Lions were able to hold off the Privateer rally.
Jackson, a native of Hammond, leads Southeastern in scoring this season with an average of 12.7 points per game and is third in the Southland Conference with 5.1 assists per game. 
Joshua Filmore (9.0 ppg), a junior from Orlando, Florida, and 
Jordan Capps (8.8 ppg, 5.6 rebounds per game) round out the Lions' top scorers.
Southeastern is shooting 45.7 percent (683-of-1,495) from the floor this season, ranking third in the Southland. The Lions have hit 36.3 percent (190-of-524) from 3-point range, are 371-of-587 (63.2 percent) from the free throw line and have been out-rebounded by opponents, on average, 35.4-to-34.0 per game.
Currently holding the No. 5 seed, the Lions can clinch a spot in the conference tournament for the fourth-consecutive season with a win Saturday.
The Bears, who have won four of their last six games, are led by Jordan Howard (20.2 ppg, 3.4 rpg), Derreck Brooks (12.9 ppg, 6.0 rpg), Mathieu Kamba (11.0 ppg, 5.4 rpg) and Justin Foreman (10.8 ppg, 4.8 rpg).
Central Arkansas is shooting 45.0 percent (649-of-1,442) from the floor this season, including Southland-best 37.6 percent (162-of-432) from 3-point range. The Bears have converted 380-of-580 (65.5 percent) from the free throw line and have out-rebounded opponents, on average, 37.5-to-36.8 per game.
Northwestern State, which defeated Nicholls, 81-67, this past Monday, is led by Zeek Woodley (22.8 ppg, 5.1 rpg), Sabri Thompson (12.7 ppg, 3.2 rpg), Ishmael Lane (11.8 ppg, 5.9 rpg) and Devonte Hall (10.3 ppg, 3.5 rpg).
The Demons are shooting 45.7 percent (693-of-1,518) from the floor this season, including 36.2 percent (188-of-520) from 3-point range. Northwestern State has converted 427-of-557 (76.7 percent) from the free throw line and has been out-rebounded by opponents, on average, 39.4-to-33.3 per game.
