CONWAY, Ark. – Central Arkansas topped Southeastern Louisiana in straight sets Thursday, 25-10, 25-15, 25-15, for Southland Conference win at the Prince Center.
The Sugar Bears (9-11, 3-5 Southland) recorded a robust .420 attack percentage to power past Southeastern (3-16, 2-4 Southland).
Madi Odom, a senior from Kingwood, Texas, led the Lady Lions with eight kills.
Landry Bullock, a senior from Spring, Texas, chipped in five kills and had a hand in three of Southeastern's four team blocks.
Haley Baker, a sophomore from Elkton, Maryland, dished out a team-high nine assists.
Monica Ramon, Southeastern's sophomore libero from San Antonio, Texas, led all players with 12 digs.
Samantha Anderson and Haley Tippett led all players with 10 kills, while Sugar Bear setter Elizabeth Armstrong handed out a match-high 32 assists.
Rayna Jefferis recorded nine digs to lead Central Arkansas.
Southeastern now travels to Northwestern State (11-12, 6-2 Southland) for a 1 p.m. conference match Saturday at Prather Coliseum. The Lady Demons defeated New Orleans in straight sets Thursday, 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.
