HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana placed 84 student-athletes on the Fall 2015 Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, which was released by the league office on Wednesday.
 
A total of 1,039 Southland Conference student-athletes from the league's 13 institutions earned a place on the honor roll. The honor roll recognizes student-athletes from the sports of cross country, football, soccer and volleyball who maintained a 3.0 grade point average for the Fall 2015 semester and were eligible to compete this past fall.
 
The Lion football team led the department with 31 student-athletes on the list. All-America senior defensive back Harlan Miller was on the list, along with fellow All-Southland Conference performers A.J. Bowen, Joe Graves and Travis Romero.
 
The SLU cross country program featured 23 representatives. The women's cross country team's 16 student-athletes on the list represented the third-highest total among all league women's cross country programs.
 
The Southland Conference Tournament champion Southeastern women's soccer team placed 21 student-athletes on the honor roll. All-Region senior midfielder Gisenia Utreras was one of seven All-Southland SLU players to earn a spot on the list, along with freshman Christina Cutura, senior Maddie Allen, sophomore Maddie Kresevic, senior Cheyenne Maxwell, freshman Sofia Olsson and sophomore Ana Zadro.
 
Rounding out the SLU contingent were nine volleyball student-athletes. All-Southland Conference junior Landry Bullock was one of the honorees, along with fellow Southland All-Academic representative Mikayla Shippy.
