HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana volleyball squad returns to the University Center Tuesday at 7 p.m. to host UL Lafayette in the annual Dig the Lions match. Admission is free.
T-shirts and food will be given to the first 200 Southeastern students in attendance. Students and campus organizations can earn eight points toward their new Lion Up Loyalty account at the match by checking-in on the mobile app while in attendance.

Southeastern (7-8, 1-1 Southland) knocked off Houston Baptist, 25-22, 21-25, 25-17, 25-17, Saturday at Sharp Gym in Houston, Texas, to even its Southland Conference record. Sophomore

Veronica Turk (0.49 b/set) and Thomas (0.40 b/set) lead Southeastern's front-line defensive effort.
The Ragin' Cajuns (3-11, 0-3 Sun Belt) have dropped their last six matches since defeating Southern on Sept. 8 in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Chanelle Gardner (2.60 k/set), Sara Mossakowski (2.50 k/set) and Jessica Bartczyszyn (8.52 a/set) lead the UL Lafayette offensive attack.
Gardner (0.83 b/set) and Julia Pasch (0.67 b/set) are the squad's top blockers. Stacey Reilly (3.48 d/set), Sydney Davis (3.45 d/set) and McKenzie John (2.71 d/set) are the top defenders along the back row for the Ragin' Cajuns.
Following Dig the Lions, Southeastern embarks on a three-match Southland Conference road trip before returning home to host Stephen F. Austin the Thursday of homecoming week (Oct. 15).
