LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Southeastern Louisiana volleyball squad continues its early season schedule with three matches Friday and Saturday at the Cox Pavilion in UNLV's Rebel Challenge.
Southeastern faces host UNLV (3-3) at 12 p.m. (Central) Friday and former Southland Conference foe Oral Roberts (4-2) later that day at 6:30 p.m. (Central). The Lady Lions will wrap up their trip Saturday with a 1:30 p.m. (Central) match against Portland State (2-4).

The Lady Lions (2-4) are coming off an intense, four-set win over Troy on Labor Day.
Parrie Hartley led all players with 17 kills and senior
Brooke Balser tied a career high with 23 digs in the match.
Landry Bullock (3.25 kills per set), Sarah Freidman (2.27 k/set), Hartley (2.07 k/set) and
Tiffany Thomas (2.05 k/set) pace the Lady Lion offense under the direction of setters
Mikayla Shippy (6.68 a/set) and
Haley Baker (5.62 assists per set). Baker's eight service aces are tops on the squad.
Brooke Balser (3.29 d/set),
Monica Ramon (3.05 digs per set) and
Madi Odom (2.22 d/set) anchor the back row defensively. Thomas (0.52 b/set),
Rachael Bunn (0.47 b/set),
Veronica Turk (0.43 b/set) and
Shelby Devlin (0.40 blocks per set), a Las Vegas native, lead Southeastern's front-line defensive effort.
UNLV has lost three straight matches, dropping its entire slate last weekend at the Varney's Invitational at Kansas State.
Bree Hammel (3.36 k/set), Ceannia Kincade (2.95 k/set), Alyssa Wing (2.23 k/set) and Alexis Patterson (10.00 a/set) lead the Rebel offensive attack. Ashley Owens (1.67 b/set), Hammel (1.14 b/set), Patterson (0.77 b/set) and Kincade (0.73 b/set) are the squad's top blockers. Carly Riehl (4.27 d/set) and Wing (2.86 d/set) anchor the back row defense.
ORU has taken two-of-three matches at a pair of tournaments in the season's first two weeks.
Laura Milos (5.61 k/set), Nika Mostahinic (2.57 k/set), Shelby Cox (2.43 k/set) and Lucija Bojanjac (11.26 a/set) pace the Golden Eagle offense. Cox (0.65 b/set) and Jovana Poljasevic (0.65 b/set) are the squad's top blocking personnel. Tori Roe (3.15 d/set), Bojanjac (2.39 d/set) and Milos (2.00 d/set) are the leaders along the back row.
Portland State has won back-to-back matches after dropping its first four of the season.
Pati Anae (3.10 k/set), Eva Linden (2.90 k/set), Jenna Mullen (2.19 k/set) and Erin Clark (5.20 a/set) lead the Viking offense. Sarah Liva (1.25 b/set), Tasha Bojanic (2.93 d/set), Clark (2.20 d/set) and Anae (2.15 d/set) are the squad's top defensive threats.
Friday's match against UNLV will be the first meeting between the schools. Oral Roberts leads the all-time series with the Lady Lions, 4-0, and Portland State has won the only meeting in school history.
Southeastern returns to action Tuesday at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
