NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana volleyball team wraps up a three-match road trip Saturday with a Southland Conference contest against the University of New Orleans. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m. in the Human Performance Center.

This past Tuesday, Southeastern held off McNeese State for a five-set win in Southland play, 14-25, 25-18, 25-23, 18-25, 15-11, to even its conference record.
Landry Bullock's 12 kills led the Lady Lion offense.
Veronica Turk, whose career-high nine total blocks played a key part Southeastern recording a season-high 16 blocks, recorded 10 kills.
Haley Baker (25 assists) and
Mikayla Shippy, who dished out 19 assists and posted 10 digs for the 11th double-double of her career, split setting duties. Odom led the squad with a career-high 17 digs and
Brooke Balser added an additional 13 for Southeastern.
Bullock (2.76 kills per set),
Sarah Friedman (2.08 k/set) and Odom (1.71 k/set) pace the Lady Lion offense this season under the direction of Shippy (5.46 a/set) and Baker (5.15 assists per set). Freshmen
Monica Ramon (22) and Baker (16) are the team leaders in service aces.
Balser (3.32 d/set), Ramon (2.47 digs per set) and Odom (2.09 d/set) anchor the back row defensively. Turk (0.65 b/set),
Rachael Bunn (0.62 b/set) and
Shelby Devlin (0.52 blocks per set) lead Southeastern's front-line defensive effort.
The Privateers have won back-to-back matches, picking up their first Southland win with a 3-1 decision at Nicholls this past Tuesday and then sweeping past Southern in a non-conference home match Thursday evening.
Blessing Dunn (2.57 k/set), Cara Sander (2.13 k/set), Rondolyn Bryant (2.12 k/set) and Kaitlyn Grice (2.06 k/set) lead the UNO offense with a helping hand from Celeste Ramirez (8.36 a/set). Grice (0.67 b/.set), Keke Irby (0.61 b/set) and Bryant (0.60 b/set) are the team's leading blockers.
Lauren Levy (3.07 d/set), Dunn (2.30 d/set), Shaylene Reimer (2.29 d/set), Ramirez (2.23 d/set) and Samantha Uline (2.03 d/set) are the Privateers top defenders along the back row.
Southeastern returns home to host Stephen F. Austin, Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Dig Pink match, and Northwestern State, homecoming Saturday at 2 p.m.
