CONWAY, Ark. – The Southeastern Louisiana volleyball team returns to Southland Conference action Saturday in a noon match against Central Arkansas at the Prince Center.

Last time out Southeastern (7-9, 1-1 Southland) dropped a five-set decision to UL Lafayette at the University Center.
Landry Bullock and
Sarah Friedman led the Lady Lions with 16 kills each.
Madi Odom added 10 kills and 15 digs while
Mikayla Shippy handed out 30 assists and chipped in 11 digs, turning in double-double performances.
Haley Baker added 20 assists, splitting setting duties with Shippy.
Brooke Balser led all players with 19 digs.
Bullock (2.81 kills per set), Friedman (2.16 k/set) and
Parrie Hartley (1.87 k/set) pace the Lady Lion offense this season under the direction of Shippy (5.73 a/set) and Baker(5.23 assists per set). Freshmen
Monica Ramon (19) and Baker (16) are the team leaders in service aces.
Balser (3.48 d/set), Ramon (2.55 digs per set) and Odom (1.94 d/set) anchor the back row defensively.
Rachael Bunn (0.57 b/set),
Shelby Devlin (0.53 blocks per set) and
Veronica Turk (0.46 b/set) lead Southeastern's front-line defensive effort.
Southeastern is looking for its first win over Central Arkansas (8-9, 4-1 Southland) in series history. The Sugar Bears have won six straight matches, all at home.
Heather Schnars (4.11 k/set) and Amy South (9.06 a/set) lead Central Arkansas' offensive attack. Schnars has also served up 42 aces this season and is among the team leaders in blocks (0.51 b/set).
Savanah Allen (0.91 b/set), Samantha Anderson (0.90 b/set) and Fulani Petties (0.54 b/set) are part of the second-best blocking corps in the conference (2.20 b/set). Allie Kemp (3.27 d/set), Amanda Dimon (2.33 d/set), Schnars (2.32 d/set) and Corri Hunt (2.25 d/set) are the Sugar Bears' top defensive players along the back row.
Southeastern continues its three-match Southland Conference road trip with contests Tuesday at McNeese State and Oct. 10 at the University of New Orleans before returning home to host Stephen F. Austin the Thursday of homecoming week (Oct. 15).
