NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana volleyball team opens a busy week with its first conference action of the year, facing the University of New Orleans at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Human Performance Center.

Southeastern (2-9) has not played since dropping a four-set decision at home to Southern Miss, 25-19, 25-17, 25-27, 25-19, this past Tuesday. In that contest,
Parrie Hartley led the Lady Lions with 12 kills (.211 attack percentage), recording a double-double with 13 digs.
Mikayla Shippy handed out 18 assists while
Morgan Miller chipped in an additional 15 for Southeastern.
Morgan Todd led the team with 18 digs.
Hartley (2.49 kills per set),
Tiffany Thomas (2.45 k/set) and Shippy (8.76 assists per set) lead the Lady Lion offense.
Rachael Bunn (0.94 blocks per set) and
Veronica Turk (0.82 blocks per set) have helped Southeastern to the sixth-most blocks (1.75 per set) in the Southland this season. Todd is fourth in the conference with 4.70 digs per set.
UNO (5-8) picked up a four-set win over Grambling State this past Saturday at the Sugar Bear Invitational in Conway, Ark.
Cara Sander (3.11 k/set), Mikayla Sellers-Wiebe (2.30 k/set) and Sara Hammoutene (8.13 a/set) lead the Privateers' offensive effort. Celeste Ramirez (3.30 d/set) is the team leader in digs.
Southeastern returns home to host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Thursday at 7 p.m., and Houston Baptist, Saturday at 2 p.m., in the University Center in Southland Conference action.
