Morgan Todd leads Southeastern Louisiana into a first round Southland Conference Volleyball Tournament matchup against Central Arkansas, the defending tournament champion, at 11 a.m. Friday in Prather Coliseum.

Southeastern (11-17) enters the tournament as the seventh seed after compiling an 8-8 regular season conference record.
The Lady Lions will be making their fifth tournament appearance and will be searching for their first Southland tournament win. Southeastern missed out on the tournament last year after a quarterfinal exit in the 2012 tournament.
Last year's conference tournament champion Central Arkansas (18-11) claimed the No. 2 seed after finishing off the regular season with a 13-3 league record.
The Sugar Bears have won both the regular season and tournament titles the past two years and have played in the tournament's championship match three of the past four years. Earning an undefeated 18-0 conference record last season, Central Arkansas has lost only six conference matches over the past three seasons combined.

Parrie Hartley (2.06 kills per set) and
Mikayla Shippy (8.81 assists per set) are leading the way for Southeastern offensively.
Rachael Bunn is the team leader in blocks (0.99 b/set) and Todd is third in the Southland with 5.12 digs per set.
Heather Schnars, the conference player of the year, leads the Sugar Bears in kills (4.19 per set). Kristine Hjembo (8.96 a/set) and Amy South (10.45 a/set) have split the setting duties this season, while Shelbee Berringer (4.52 d/set) anchors the defense.
First Round, Semifinals Available on Southland Digital Network; Championship match on ESPN3The championship match will be carried exclusively on ESPN3 with TV talent by David Saltzman and Brooke Bentley. ESPN3 is available via WatchESPN.com and the WatchESPN app. In addition, all quarterfinal and semifinal matches of the tournament will be streamed live on the Southland Conference Digital Network, available at Southland.org and on the league's Apple and Android mobile and tablet apps. Chris Mycoskie will handle play-by-play duties for the quarterfinal and semifinal matches.
