In the second set, McMillin recorded 11 of her digs and Devlin added a pair of blocks as Southeastern held the Lady Techsters (3-8) to a match-low .073 attack percentage. Building an early 3-0 lead, Louisiana Tech never caught up.

Vido led Louisiana Tech with 10 kills and four players, including Stephany Salas with 16, chipped in double-digit digs.
In other action on the final day of the tournament, UTPA swept an early-morning, three-set decision from Southern (0-8). Weber State (6-5), playing back-to-back matches, knocked off Louisiana Tech in three sets and UTPA (2-9) in four.
Weber State won the tournament, going undefeated in its four matches. The Lady Lions took runner-up status with the only blemish being a four-set loss to the eventual tournament champion Wildcats. Louisiana Tech split its four matches while UTPA dropped three of four. Southern was on the short end of all four contests it played.
Donald and Bekelja represented Southeastern on the Tangi Tourism Lion Classic All-Tournament Team. They were joined by Louisiana Tech's Maria Coelho, Southern's Michelle Williams, Texas-Pan American's Juri Franzen, and Weber State's Rebecca Fuchs and Caitlin Penrod. Fuchs was named the tournament MVP.
Southeastern opens Southland Conference play Thursday at 7 p.m. against McNeese State in the University Center.
