HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University volleyball team puts its two-match winning streak on the line Thursday against Oral Roberts in a Southland Conference contest.

Leading the Lady Lion offense is
Courtney Donald, ranked third in the conference in kills (3.91 per set) and fourth in hitting percentage (.354). The senior middle blocker owns the sixth-best career attack percentage in school history. She also ranks among the best in Southeastern history in kills (8th), attempts (8th), block assists (7th), total blocks (10th) and points (10th).
Veronica Turk (2.36 k/set),
Tamra Grayson (1.70 k/set),
Shelby Devlin (1.67 k/set) and
Becky Bekelja (9.18 assists per set) are the other top offensive weapons for the Lady Lions. Southeastern and Oral Roberts are tied for the second-best attack percentage (.193) in the conference.

Megan McMillin ranks fifth in the Southland with 4.21 digs per set. Lending a helping hand on defense are Bekelja (2.45 d/set) and
Cherish Krohn (1.98 d/set). Donald (66 total blocks) and Devlin (43 tb) are Southeastern's top blockers.
The Lady Lions (8-12, 3-7 Southland) have won their last two conference matches, both on the road, and three of the last four overall as they head into a stretch with six of their final nine contests at home. Southeastern fell to the Golden Eagles in four sets Sept. 20 in Tulsa, Okla.
Oral Roberts (8-12, 4-5 Southland) dropped its only match last week, a five-set decision at Central Arkansas, and has not won a true road match (0-8 road, 4-3 neutral) this season.
Sheina Fernandes (2.70 k/set, .334 hitting percentage), Tatum Freeden (2.64 k/set), Sadie Schaffner (2.07 k/set) and Laura Taylor (9.99 a/set) lead the Golden Eagles offense.
Bruna Silva is second in the conference in digs (5.05 per set) while Jessica Pancratz (1.32 blocks per set) and Fernandes (1.21 b/set) are the second and third-best blockers, respectively, in the Southland.
Southeastern continues conference play Saturday at 2 p.m. in the University Center against Southland-leader Central Arkansas.
