RUSTON – Paige Dollison recorded a season-high tying 11 kills while hitting .526 at the net to lead the Southeastern Louisiana University volleyball team to a 25-23, 25-14, 25-16 victory over Grambling on Saturday in the Louisiana Tech Invitational at the Thomas Assembly Center.
Dollison, who was named to the All-Tournament team, added a team-high three blocks for Southeastern (3-9). Freshman
Zoe Douglas added a season-high eight kills while
Stephanie Mueller and freshman
Elizabeth Ramee added six.
Arianne Cruckshank added 36 assists and four service aces for the Lady Lions, who hit .318 at the net and recorded a season-high seven aces.
Megan McMillin added 10 digs for Southeastern while
Cherish Krohn added seven.
April Johnson led Grambling (0-10) with 10 kills while Chelsee Goins led the Tigers with 13 digs with Dorothy Brown adding 12.
Southeastern returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts Louisiana-Monroe in a 7 p.m. match in the University Center. Tickets are available by calling the Southeastern Athletic Ticket Office at (985) 549-5466. All Southeastern students with a valid ID are admitted free.
