Kinsey Williams recorded a team-high six kills while
Lindsey Young added 18 assists, but defending Southland Conference champion Central Arkansas hit an impressive .326 at the net and defeated Southeastern Louisiana 25-15, 25-17, 25-14 Thursday night at the Prince Center.
Jessica Hays led UCA (13-6, 4-0 Southland), which won its 26th consecutive league match and 23rd straight overall contest at home, with 12 kills while Chloe Smith added 10. Freshman Marissa Collins posted a double-double for the Sugar Bears with 32 assists and 10 digs while Cristin Curl added nine digs.
Taylor Buckner led Southeastern (9-11, 1-3 Southland) with nine digs with
Chelsea Barr adding seven.
Southeastern will return to action on Saturday when it faces Northwestern State in a 7 p.m. match at Prather Coliseum.
