Box Score ARLINGTON, Texas - Marquez Haynes scored a game-high 22 points to lead four players in double figures as UT Arlington took advantage in the opening minutes of the first half and held on for an 85-73 win over Southeastern Louisiana in a Southland Conference game Wednesday at Texas Hall.
Brandon Long added 12 points for UTA (14-10, 6-5 SLC) while Dwight Gentry added 11 and Tommy Moffitt 10. The Mavs built a 19-point lead in the first half as Southeastern (14-10, 6-5 SLC) struggled on both ends of the floor before chipping away at the UTA lead.
UTA led 39-25 at halftime before Southeastern got as close as nine. But the Mavs pulled away behind the play of Haynes, who entered the game leading the Southland Conference in scoring (23.6).

Patrick Sullivan with 21 points and eight rebounds.
Rodney Jones added 15 points and Deshawn Patterson added 13 for the Lions, who fell to 0-11 at Texas Hall. The Lions were 24-for-56 (43 percent) from the floor and 4-for-19 from behind the 3-point line.
Southeastern will host SLC East Division leader Stephen F. Austin in a 3 p.m. contest at the University Center.
