Box Score ORLANDO – Isaac Sosa came off the bench to score 17 points to lead four players in double figures and lead UCF to a 74-49 win over Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday at UCF Arena.
Keith Clanton added 16 points, 15 rebounds and eight blocked shots as UCF (7-0) held Southeastern (4-2) to 18-for-61 from the floor (29.5 percent) and 2-for-12 from behind the 3-point line. Marcus Jordan added 13 points for the Knights while A.J. Rompza added 11 points and eight assists.
Southeastern scored the game's first seven points before UCF stormed back, taking a 17-15 lead on a 3-pointer by Jordan with 12:28 remaining in the first half. The Knights extended their lead to 38-24 at halftime and pulled away in the second half outscoring Southeastern, 36-25, and holding the Lions to 8-for-30 (26.7 percent) in the second half.
Trent Hutchin led Southeastern with a game-high 18 points while
Jason Marks and
David Ndoumba pulled down nine rebounds each.
Southeastern will return to action on Saturday when it travels to face Southern University in a 3 p.m. game at the F.G. Clark Activity Center.
